Role at ATCC

In her role as Vice President, Government Programs, ATCC Federal Solutions, Rebecca leads and directs a team of well-trained program managers and exceptional scientific staff that works closely with ATCC’s government partners to address global needs for infectious diseases, biodefense, medical countermeasures, and global health security.

Experience

Since joining ATCC in 2004 as a biologist, Rebecca moved through the ranks of project and program management and has been a critical contributor to the business growth and expansion of ATCC Federal Solutions business with our federal clients. She leads by example and provides hands on experience to our proposal responses that clearly outline our corporate capabilities and the corporate infrastructure to support government needs. Rebecca and her team played a critical role in accelerating the development of countermeasures during multiple global public health emergencies, including the 2009 H1N1 Influenza pandemic, 2015-16 Zika epidemic, and COVID-19 pandemic.

Rebecca holds multiple degrees from Johns Hopkins University, including a Master of Business Administration from Carey Business School, a Master of Science in Bioinformatics, and a Master of Science in Biotechnology. Before joining ATCC, Rebecca was contributing to key scientific advances at Johns Hopkins Wilmer Eye Institute performing research on retinal diseases.
